Warranty
100% Transferable Warranty
This warranty provides you protection against the expense of
repairs that are a result of defects in material and
workmanship. It also provides you with specific coverage and
describes your responsibilities in maintaining and operating
your new boat. Please read and become familiar with all of the
information in the warranty statement.
Period of Warranty:
Any new Cobia boat purchased for non-commercial use from any
authorized Cobia boat dealer in the continental United States by
the original retail purchaser, will be warranted against major
structural defects in material or workmanship for a period of
ten (10) years for the hull and deck structure. All other
non-structural components of the boat used or manufactured by
Cobia from the date of purchase are subject to the limitations
outlined below.
10 YEAR PROTECTION
HULL AND DECK STRUCTURE - Hull / deck, liners, stringers,
transom, all deck and hull joints.
3 YEAR PROTECTION
STEERING - Helm, hoses, cables, hydraulic cylinders and steering
wheel.
ELECTRICAL - Switches, wiring harness, LED lights, battery
switches, bow light (excludes bulb), horn, anchor light, 12 V
receptacles, duplex outlets, trim tabs, shore power, windless
and livewell lights.
FUEL DELIVERY - Fuel tank, fuel vent, fuel hoses, water
separator (excludes filter) and fuel fills.
CONTROLS - Shift and throttle cables.
UPHOLSTERY - Vinyl, stitching and workmanship.
CANVAS - Stitching, material and workmanship.
ACCESSORIES - Ladder, windshield, rod holders, tackle boxes, gas
shocks, anchor chute, cleats, T-top, hard-top, outriggers,
thru-hulls, rub rail, bow/stern eyes.
1 YEAR PROTECTION
ELECTRICAL - Generator, wiring and exhaust system. Refrigerator,
air conditioner and water heater. Macerator, livewell,
freshwater, bilge and wash down pumps. Float switches, stereo,
stereo remote.
GELCOAT FINISH - Protection from crazing, stress cracks and air
voids.
CLAIM BENEFITS - Hoist, lift out and transportation if returned
to factory.
