GUIDES All guides associated with Family Boating Center are United States Coast Guard (USCG) licensed, well known and highly experienced. We consider them second to none and our own customers use them frequently. All guides are available to provide 'wet test' demonstrations. Click on the guide's name to find out more about them. Rodney Martin Captain Rodney, a Tampa native, has 45 years of experience and has been guiding full time for 10 years. He operates a 24' Pathfinder with a tower. If you want to experience a tower boat in operation then call Captain Rodney and arrange a day on the water with him. FBC is proud to have him as our Senior Guide. Cliff Martin Captain Cliff is one of the most experienced, knowledgeable and highly respected saltwater fly fishing guides there is. Spend time on the water with him and you'll see what we mean. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, a day spent with Captain Cliff will show how it is suppose to be done. Jim Lemke Captain Jim currently fishes out of an 18' Hewes Bonefisher and is considered a tarpon expert by knowledgeable anglers. Running a 21' Parker with a jackplate he can also go inshore and many happy clients can attest. Brian Epperson Captain Brian has been fishing Tampa Bay for over 20 years and guiding full time since 2005. An inshore expert he uses a Hewes 17' Tailfisher to sight fish in shallow water.
